This was one of those unfortunate pieces that proved to be little more than a show of drawing muscle. My idea was to draw myself in a fantastical underwater setting surrounded by deep sea fish and butterflies; in one hand, I hold a luna moth, preparing to skewer it with the fish hook I hold in my other hand. The appearance of this strayed far from the original idea. After the final critique, I made some significant changes to the piece, but I guess we can't always win in our intents.
